This class builds on the skills learned in the Basic Equine Photo class - Sat. May 5, 2012.
The Advanced course will involve action photography of many disciplines- jumping, dressage, mounted games, western events, etc. I will have riders from these areas for you to practice on. You will learn different ways to show action, and creative techniques in photo editing to create dramatic images for printing. The final part will include a critique of the photos you've taken that day. This is an exciting course that offers the opportunity for lot's of hands-on practice. You should have an SLR/DSLR style camera to get the most out of this course. Lunch is included.
Class is limited, pre-registration required. This class fills quickly as it's only scheduled in the spring.
Bring an SLR style camera which you are familiar with, and plenty of extra memory as you will take a lot of photos. Extra batteries are also a good idea.

TRAVIS HALL EQUESTRIAN CENTRE is a full service equestrian centre which has been operating as an equestrian business since 1974.
Located on 92 acres of beautiful agricultural land in Eramosa Township, just between the lovely towns of Rockwood and Fergus, Ontario Canada, only a 15 minute drive from the City of Guelph.
The Johnson family and staff take pride in providing a safe, fun, and friendly atmosphere. Whether you are a beginner or advanced rider, Travis Hall would be pleased to help you enjoy & learn about the sport, or provide breaking & training services for your equines.
Our facility is equipped with an indoor arena alongside our main barn where the horses are stabled. There is a separate tack area provided for both boarding & schooling horses, plus indoor washrooms, a large viewing area and both a wash stall & ready rack. Most of our nutritious organically grown hay comes right from our own fields.
Outside the barns, there are many paddocks, fenced fields, hay growing areas, and a regulation sized sand ring plus miles of trails and gravel roadways available for the boarders use. Whether your riding is geared for show, or just fun & pleasant hacking space around open fields, we would be most pleased to accommodate your needs.
Travis Hall Equestrian Centre is host to several Conestoga Cadora Dressage Shows, along with Canadian Warmblood events & inspections, Mounted Games, and Equine Photography Clinics. We also accommodate co-op & foreign exchange working students. On-going activities include private or group lessons for all ages, our Saturday Morning Club for kids, and day camps during school breaks.
Our standards are set for the safest riding environment. All activities from grooming to tacking up and riding are done accordingly. Come check us out!
